TCM AntiSlip is a permanent treatment that will increase the slip resistance of your floor in wet conditions. AntiSlip is not a coating that can flake and wear off but a surface treatment that will create a much safer floor in the wet. This can be achieved without a discernable change in the look or feel of your floor. AntiSlip can be used on almost all hard surfaces virtually all flooring excluding vinyl, wood and painted floors. |
Etching is defined as the process of using strong acid to cut into the unprotected parts of a surface to create a design or print. This process has been known in Europe since the middle ages and may go back even further. The Etchgrip treatment uses a mixture of carefully tested acids to etch a microscopic tread design into the surface of hard flooring. This treatment greatly increases the floors slip resistance in wet conditions and therefore its pendulum test value (PTV). Each floor surface is tested prior to treatment to ensure the perfect solution mix is used to optimise the slip resistance without affecting the appearance of your floor.

Before application of the TCM Antislip the surface as to be cleaned and old coatings have to be removed
After cleaning the AntiSlip solution has to be applied and must be moved on the surface for about 30 minutes
The result after neutralising is clearly visible and long lasting
Note: As TCM Antislip will itch micro pores into the tile or stone surface, dirt will be more attracted. Maintenence on AntiSlip treated surfaces might become more intense or must be done more frequently than without treatment. We recommend using a one disc cleaning machine with white 3M cleaning pad for huge areas.
